An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Master Box, from the Women at War range. The set depicts the female auxiliary personnel of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War. The figures are supplied on sprues and have to be glued and painted. The exact number of figures is given on the packaging.
The Helferinnen were women serving in the auxiliary services of the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe. They mainly handled signals, telephone, office and staff duties or operated anti-aircraft searchlights, in order to free men for combat service. This was the reality of total war at the time, not a matter of combat units.
Separate the small parts from the sprue with a sharp knife and clean up the mold seams and the sprue attachments. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Acrylic paints work well on figures: paint the faces and hands in thinned layers, and bring out the uniforms with a dark wash in the folds and light drybrushing on the edges. A final matte varnish unifies the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
