The M113 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier of aluminum alloy, one of the most widely used armored vehicles of its era. The ACAV variant (Armored Cavalry Assault Vehicle) was created for service in Vietnam by adding armored shields and extra machine guns for fighting from a moving vehicle. The set suits a build of this combat version.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface and form the bends with a photo-etch bending tool. Use cyanoacrylate glue. With tracked vehicles we recommend assembling and painting the running gear and the interior before closing up the hull, and weathering with a wash and pigments for mud and dust effects.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a kit of the vehicle. The base plastic model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
