The M113 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier adopted from the beginning of the nineteen sixties, one of the most widespread carriers in history. Its light aluminum hull made it air-transportable and amphibious. It served from the Vietnam War through a whole range of later conflicts and became the basis for dozens of specialized versions. Its simplicity, capacity and reliability have kept it in service with many armies of the world to this day.
Assemble and line the running gear up before you close the hull. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the seams back. A primer as a base and an airbrush are worth using; choose the color scheme according to the period and the service you pick. Bring the olive green or the desert shade to life with modulation, washes pick out the details of the hull, and pigments and mud effects give the running gear and the sides a realistic finish.
