This resin conversion set reworks a model of the American M113 armored personnel carrier into the Israeli Zelda modification with add-on explosive reactive armor of the Blazer type. It holds cast armor blocks and further parts for covering the hull. It is not a complete kit but a conversion accessory.
The M113 is one of the most widespread tracked carriers in the world. The Israeli Defense Forces committed it under the designation Zelda and protected it with Blazer explosive reactive armor, which markedly increased its resistance to shaped-charge rounds. The vehicle thus gained its characteristic clad appearance.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and fit the blocks carefully to the hull. Paint the armor in the Israeli desert gray-green shade known as Sinai and add weathering in proportion.
This is a conversion accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
