This is a detailed armament set, not a kit. The set from the Brassin line contains resin castings of the American M16 assault rifle in its Vietnam War form, complemented by photo-etched parts. It serves to arm figures and to bring dioramas in 1:35 scale to life.
The M16 rifle became a symbol of the American deployment in Vietnam. This light automatic small-caliber weapon replaced older types in the infantry and served in a range of variants for decades. The model captures the characteristic silhouette with the carrying handle and the box magazine.
Wash the parts to remove the residue of the mold release agent, carefully cut them from the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The photo-etched elements add fine detail; paint the weapon with a combination of dark steel, matte black and the shades of the wood or plastic of the stock.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
