A detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the American M3 Lee medium tank in its early production form from MiniArt, in the version with a full interior. The kit renders the inside of the fighting and driver's compartments, the engine compartment with the engine and the armament. Photo-etched parts and clear parts are in the set, and all the hatches can be positioned open. It is a very extensive kit for experienced modelers.
The M3 Lee was an American medium tank of the early Second World War with an unusual layout: the main 75 mm gun was mounted in a sponson in the hull, while a smaller 37 mm gun sat in a rotating turret. It was used among other places in North Africa, where its firepower helped the Allies bridge a period when more modern tanks were in short supply. The early version corresponds to the oldest production form.
Work from the interior: assemble and paint the inside of the hull, the engine compartment and the armament before you close the hull, because afterward those parts are out of reach. Finish the running gear first as well. For the weathering use dark washes into the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear. Open hatches let the interior show.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
