A set of cast stowage for the American M3A1 scout car in 1:35 scale, in the form matching the US Army. The vehicle has an open hull, so the whole interior is on view; the equipment stowed inside is therefore not merely an addition but a substantial part of the overall look of a model.
The M3A1 was an open four-wheeled armored car with an armored hull, which served for reconnaissance, for liaison, for carrying staffs and as an ambulance. The crew and the men being carried stowed weapons, ammunition, sleeping bags, boxes and personal baggage in the hull, so it tended to be crammed full.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and try the fit dry. Paint the stowage separately before you seat it in the hull. Set the materials apart by surface and place them irregularly, because precisely aligned equipment looks lifeless. At the end unify the whole with a dust pigment, so that the stowage belongs to the vehicle.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
