Thirty pieces of 7.5 cm ammunition and cartridge cases for the KwK 42 gun in 1:35 scale. An accessory for open fighting compartments and dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
The 7.5 cm KwK 42 gun, with a barrel 70 calibers long, was among the most powerful German tank weapons of the Second World War and was carried above all by the Panther. Its ammunition has a strikingly long cartridge case and a slender projectile, so it cannot be mistaken for the shorter rounds of the same caliber from the earlier guns. It is precisely this ratio of length that is recognized at once on a model.
Thirty pieces in 1:35 scale covering projectiles and cartridge cases. That number is enough to fill the ammunition stowage in the turret as well as for pieces laid out loose around the vehicle, both for rounds ready to be loaded and for empty cases that have been fired.
Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; on resin and metal, cyanoacrylate or epoxy holds. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder so that the round seats in its stowage. Wash and degrease the pieces before painting. Brass cartridge cases come out well when a metallic base is sprayed on and a thin dark wash is drawn over it into the shadows; fired cases then take a more matte and dirtier shade than those meant to be ready for use.
For builders of tanks in 1:35 scale who open the hatches or build dioramas with ammunition being replenished. The vehicle model, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
