A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard for the early M4 Sherman medium tank in the DV version, that is, with direct vision ports for the driver and his assistant in the front of the hull. It is not a model but an accessory that refines selected elements of the kit with thin metal parts.
The M4 Sherman was the standard American medium tank of the Second World War. The earliest production had direct vision ports in the front armor plate instead of the later periscopes. This form is typical of the first production batches committed at the start of the fighting.
Cut the parts out at the fret and bend them on a photo-etch bending tool. Glue the metal elements with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy, and degrease and prime them before painting. Finish the weathering of the tank with a wash and pigments for a mud and dust effect.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
