A set of well printed water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from the Star Decals brand. It brings markings for the early form of the M48A3 Patton tank in the service of the American marines (US Marines) during the war in Vietnam, specifically for the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tank Battalion. This is an accessory to plastic models.
The M48A3 was a medium tank widely deployed by the American forces in Vietnam; the early form had a lower arrangement of the commander's cupola. The tanks of the marines carried prominent names, tactical numbers and unit designations. The set reproduces these designs faithfully and makes it possible to build a particular machine of a given battalion.
Apply them onto a smooth gloss base, so that no silvering edge arises. Dip a decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it onto the model. With a softener the decals will adhere to engraved detail; unify the end result with a matte varnish, which suits the typically matte coat of the vehicles.
This is a set of decals on its own. A model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
