Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M53 155 mm self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale from I Love Kit. This extensive kit, with a slide-molded lower hull and turret, contains a large number of parts and photo-etched items. The exact contents of the package and the decals are not stated here.
The M53 was an American heavy self-propelled gun taken into service in the early 1950s, sharing its chassis and a number of components with the vehicles of the Patton family. In a rotating armored turret at the rear of the hull it carried a 155 mm gun and served for long-range fire support. It shared both the hull and the mounting with the related M55 type (203 mm). The M53 served with the US Army and the Marine Corps and later went to some NATO member states as well.
Assemble the running gear and the lower hull first, and only then the turret and the barrel. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and the photo-etched items with super glue. Lay down primer and paint with an airbrush - postwar American vehicles usually carried a uniform olive shade. Bring out the panel lines with a wash and suggest dust and service wear with pigments; finish off the long barrel at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
