A detail accessory faithfully rendering the six-barrel M61A1 Vulcan rotary cannon of 20 mm caliber. The set combines turned metal barrels with etched clamps that hold the cluster of barrels together.
Six separate turned barrels have drilled muzzles and an accurate profile. The etched clamps (barrel clamps) ensure the correct spacing of the barrels in the cluster and give the whole a fine technical detail that a plastic part cannot offer.
The barrels are set into the etched clamps as the instructions say and the cluster is placed where the original part was. Glue with a cement suitable for metal and reinforce the joints of the etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Apply a base coat for metal before painting.
