Wheels that cannot be overlooked on a model

The side of a tracked vehicle is the surface over which the eye slides first. The road wheels form a regular row on it, so every deviation in shape is repeated as many times as there are wheels on the model. The set offers a replacement for the parts from the kit, and the name designates it as corrected, that is aimed at a more accurate shape.

Which models it is intended for

The name gives the Merkava 3 and 4 and the Namer, that is the Israeli main battle tank and the heavy armored personnel carrier that shares its chassis. The wheels are in the pressed steel rendering, which is a particular construction variant, not a general description. The set is intended for Meng kits, so the seating on the axles follows the dimensions of this range.

Building and painting tips

• Wash and degrease the parts before painting; paint does not hold on an uncleaned surface.
• Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down.
• Fit the wheels dry first and level them into one plane, so that the model stands straight.
• Paint the wheels before you fit the tracks to the model; later you will reach them only with difficulty.
• Apply the dusty film on the underside of the vehicle from below upward; that is how it settles in reality too.
• Super glue proves itself for joining them to the model.

This is an add-on wheel set. The vehicle kit, the tracks, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
