Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set from the Czech manufacturer CMK, made as resin and plastic detail parts. It replaces the panels over the wing fuel tanks including the filler caps, that is a detail a kit usually deals with by engraving alone. According to the name the package holds 2 pieces. It is not a model of the aircraft, but a small accessory for a Dornier Do 17Z model in 1:48 scale that is already under way.
The Dornier Do 17Z was a twin-engine bomber with a narrow fuselage and a glazed nose, used at the beginning of the Second World War. The Z version differed from the earlier forms in a reworked front section of the fuselage and in radial engines. The panels over the wing tanks and their caps belong to the details that are clearly noticeable on the real machine, because they differ in shape, in the seam and in the wear of their surroundings.
First wash the parts in warm water with dish soap so that they are free of mold release agent, otherwise the paint may not hold. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutting disc and level the surface; sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection. Prepare the place on the wing by sanding the original engraving or suggested panel away, try the part dry and only then glue it with super glue. Once clear-coated, the seam around the panel can be picked out with a thin wash so that the detail stands out.
