It is neither a kit of the vehicle nor an accessory set of parts, but a figure in its own right that will bring a finished model or a diorama to life.
The K131 is a light off-road utility vehicle of the army of the Republic of Korea that serves for liaison, reconnaissance, the carriage of personnel and as a command car. It replaced older machines of the same category and is an ordinary part of motorized units. The Woodland camouflage pattern was used in the uniforms of the Korean armed forces at the turn of the millennium and is characteristic of that period. The figure is therefore suited to models of modern Korean vehicles, which ordinary European or American figures do not match in appearance.
First wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water, so that the remains of mold release disappear, because otherwise the primer will not hold. Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the surface wet, with protection for your airways. Before you start painting, dry-fit the figure into the interior of the vehicle: with seated figures the angle of the legs or the front edge of the seat almost always has to be adjusted. Glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue and fill the gaps with two-part putty. After a thin primer, paint the face and the hands first, from the base tone of the skin through the shadows to the highlights. Build the camouflage pattern in layers: the base light shade of the uniform, then patches of darker tones with a soft brush, then a thin wash into the folds and a dry brush on the edges. Finally unify the figure with matte varnish and lightly dust the boots and the trouser legs.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
