A plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The package contains five contemporary American soldiers together with plentiful equipment, helmets, packs and personal weapons including M16 and M4 series rifles. Decals are included as well. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as injection-molded parts on sprues.
The set depicts soldiers of the present-day American army with modern tactical gear, body armor and protective goggles. The figures suit logistics and supply scenes and also serve to add crews to contemporary armored and wheeled vehicles. The military subject is treated factually.
Cut the parts from the sprues and clean up the mold seam lines. Glue them with thin cement for plastic and apply a base coat before painting. Modern uniforms suit sand and gray camouflage patterns; bring out the equipment with a dark wash and a dry brush. Apply the decals to a smooth varnished surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
