Modern U.S. Military Equipment Set (Tamiya, 1:35) is a diorama accessory set of modern American military gear: infantry weapons, backpacks and personal field equipment to bring vehicles and figures to life. It is not a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic accessory set of modern American military gear in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The set holds a group of infantry weapons and personal field equipment, backpacks, pouches, helmets and other small items, with which you can bring modern American vehicles, figures and dioramas to life. It is not a model of an aircraft or of a vehicle but an accessory that gives a scene its scale and its story.
The set is meant to enrich finished models and dioramas on modern American army themes. Gear laid out, weapons put down and loaded backpacks look convincing on the hull of a vehicle, on the ground around figures or as part of a crew's equipment. The parts can be combined with vehicles and figures from Tamiya and from other makers in the same 1:35 scale.
Separate the small parts carefully from the sprues with a sharp knife and clean the flash away. Glue the weapons and the gear with liquid cement for plastic. An airbrush is ideal for the base shades, and the details, straps, buckles and fabrics, are then finished off with a brush. Washes into the recesses and dry pigments bring out the texture of the cloth and suggest dust and wear.
This is an accessory set, not a vehicle model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
