Bravo 6 1:35 Mohawk is an unpainted resin figure of an American soldier with a striking haircut, intended for dioramas in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An unpainted figure in 1:35 scale cast in resin. The subject is an American soldier from the period of the war in Vietnam whose characteristic feature is a striking mohawk haircut - that is precisely what gave the set its name and makes it a rewarding feature for a scene where one figure is to be recognizable at first glance. The manufacturer is Bravo 6. It is an accessory for a diorama or a vignette on its own, not a kit of equipment.
The figure is sculpted in field uniform with kit; the manufacturer's sculptural work concentrates on a natural carriage of the body and on the detail of the folds of the cloth. The casting is divided into several parts, so the turn can be fine-tuned a little during assembly. The uncovered head is intentional in this subject, which at the same time means that the face and the hair will be the dominant feature of the final painting.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the paint holds on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces and protect your airways while sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate super glue; fill the seams with modeling putty. Apply a primer before painting. Devote the greatest attention to the face and the haircut - build the skin up in thin coats and paint the hair with a dark base, then brighten the edges, so that the texture of the casting shows. Build the uniform up from a base shade through the shadows into the lights and add dust and rub-through. Finally unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
