A plastic kit of the German experimental Neubau-Fahrzeug tank (literally new construction vehicle) in 1:35 scale. The model captures its characteristic silhouette with several turrets. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; from it you build one of the first German attempts at a heavy multi-turret tank.
The Neubau-Fahrzeug came about in the first half of the 1930s as an early attempt by the German army at a heavy multi-turret tank. Only five were built (two vehicles by Rheinmetall, three by Krupp). The vehicle had three turrets: the main turret carried a combination of a 7.5 cm and a 3.7 cm gun, the smaller turrets machine guns. Three of them appeared during the occupation of Norway in 1940, but they served mostly for propaganda purposes. The tank never went into series production.
Finish the running gear and any interior before you close the hull. For a period look, the gray base of the 1930s (Panzergrau) suits it; depth comes from dark washes, edge highlighting and fine dust and mud pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
