Rear wheels with a flat tire for the early Opel Blitz, the type 2 rendition, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Wheels for the driven axle in deformed rendition, designated as type 2. They offer a different shape from the first form of the same range, so a choice can be made by what the subject carries in a period shot.
The rear tires of a truck are the most heavily loaded place on the whole chassis. They are scuffed against the edges of potholes, they spin in mud and when the vehicle is loaded they deflect so that the tread flattens out wide. That is exactly why the condition of a vehicle shows on them sooner than anywhere else, and a modeler who reaches for this detail raises the credibility of the whole build.
For modelers who build an overloaded or long-serving vehicle, and for makers of dioramas where equipment is to look worn rather than straight off the production line.
The manufacturer makes variants separately for the front and the rear wheels, so a vehicle can be shod consistently from one range. It works better than mixing a wheel from an accessory set with a counterpart from the kit, which tends to have a different tread pattern and a different depth of detail.
You are buying the wheels only, and the kit of the vehicle is not part of this item.
