A photo-etched set of handles and holders from the Czech maker Eduard for the German Panther medium tank in the Ausf. D version in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a detail accessory. The set contains fine brackets and clips for tools, spare parts and equipment on the hull and the turret, which in photo-etch look far more faithful than the coarser plastic moldings.
The outer surface of German tanks carried a great many small brackets for pickaxes, shovels, crowbars, barrel cleaning rods and other equipment. It is precisely these small items that markedly raise the realism of a model. The Panther Ausf. D was the first production version of this successful medium tank, committed from 1943 onward.
Separate the fine parts carefully and make any bends with tweezers or a bending tool. We recommend removing the original plastic brackets from the model first. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue in small sections at a time. The set is bare metal, so count on a primer coat before painting.
The accessory does not contain the model itself, the glue or the paints. It is meant to complete an existing kit.
