A detailed Tamiya accessory with a turned metal gun barrel for a model of the German medium tank Panther Ausf.D in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank kit but a replacement barrel that takes the place of the plastic part from the box. The metal version is perfectly straight, has a crisp muzzle and gives the model greater fidelity as well as a pleasant weight in the turret.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War with a long high-velocity gun barrel, valued for its combination of firepower, armor and mobility. The Ausf.D configuration was the first production version. The long barrel is characteristic of the Panther's silhouette.
Degrease the turned metal part and roughen the mating surfaces slightly before gluing. Use cyanoacrylate to fix it. It is advisable to give the metal a coat of primer before painting so that the paint holds well.
This is an aftermarket accessory. The tank model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
