A set of figures in 1:35 scale tied to a German panzer division in the campaign against Poland in the autumn of 1939. Its name carries the designation of the second part, so it follows on from an older set on the same subject from the same manufacturer. The two can be set side by side into one scene.
The Polish campaign was the first use of German panzer divisions in full strength and differed markedly from the later battlefields. Most of the machines were the light Panzer I and Panzer II types, while the heavier Panzer III and Panzer IV were as yet present in a fraction of the numbers. The vehicles were uniformly dark gray, without the later camouflage, and the markings tended to be restrained. A figure matters twice over in such a scene: it gives the model its scale and at the same time it says which year of the war the diorama is about.
The figures are supplied unpainted. Paints, glue, filler, vehicles and a diorama base are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. Go by the manufacturer's instructions during the build.
