A resin detail part in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It represents the short 75 mm KwK 37 L/24 barrel for the Panzer III tank in the Ausf. N version, with a suggested canvas cover of the kind that was pulled over the muzzle of the barrel in the field to protect it from dirt. It is a replacement detail part, not a model of the whole tank.
The Panzer III Ausf. N was the support version of the Panzer III medium tank, armed with the short 75 mm KwK 37 L/24 barrel, the same type the early Panzer IV carried. It served for the direct fire support of infantry. Canvas covers on barrels were a common field fitting.
Wash the resin part free of release agent, cut off the casting block and put it in place of the original plastic barrel. It is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The texture of the canvas comes out once a primer, the base color and then weathering with washes, filters and a dry brush have been laid on.
This is an accessory part, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
