Rye Field Model 1:35 Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. G Sd.Kfz. 161/1 is a detailed plastic kit of the German medium tank of the Second World War.

An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. G medium tank in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model. The set belongs among the modern, richly detailed kits: it holds photo-etched parts, clear elements and workable tracks that can be built up link by link. Several marking options allow different machines to be built.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV was the most numerously produced German tank of the war and served on every front. The Ausf. G version of 1942 to 1943 received the longer 7.5 cm gun with a double-baffle muzzle brake, which markedly increased its armor-piercing effect. Some of the machines carried the side armor skirts, in German Schürzen, protecting the hull and the turret against anti-tank rounds.
This is a more demanding set suited to more experienced modelers. Finish the running gear and the interior before the hull is closed. Build the workable tracks up link by link and let them hang naturally. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once the camouflage is sprayed, bring the surface to life with a wash, filters and dust pigments, and add mud effects to the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
