Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic figure set on the genre theme of a photo session for a newspaper, in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box. It is not a vehicle model but a scene that tells a story: a photographer trying to arrange a group of Soviet soldiers into heroic poses for a period picture. The figures are in winter uniforms and make up a complete diorama situation. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The scene captures Soviet infantry in the winter of 1944, when the propaganda and the press of the day needed heroic photographs from the front. The photographer with his period camera, directing the poses of the soldiers, gives the whole thing both humor and a human dimension and is a rewarding vignette on its own as well as an addition to a larger scene.
Separate the parts from the sprue, clean up the mold seams and glue them with cement for plastic. Winter clothing comes out well painted in muted tones and with the folds emphasized by a wash and drybrushing. Alternative parts for the photographer figure are usually included, which allow small variations of the pose.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
