The wheels have a faithfully rendered loaded effect, or sagged, that is, a slight bulge of the tire where it touches the road, of the kind produced by the weight of the vehicle. This detail gives the finished model the convincing impression that the vehicle really is standing on the ground.
This is the set 2 variant, one of several versions of tread or finish offered by the maker. The resin castings carry finer detail of the tread and the rim than production plastic allows, and they serve as a direct replacement for the wheels from the Meng VS004 kit.
Separate the castings carefully from the sprue gates, clean them up and degrease them before gluing. Cyanoacrylate is the answer for gluing resin. The tires are best evened out with a matte black or dark gray paint and lightly dusted with pigment to match the setting of the diorama.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and is intended to complete the matching model.
