This is not an aircraft model but a resin (3D-printed) accessory. The package contains a replacement canopy frame of the F-35A Lightning II fighter in the closed position. The set refines the shape and the detail of the frame on the corresponding kit in 1:32 scale; the accessory is made by Reskit.
The frame in the closed position is intended for models you want to display with the cockpit shut. It faithfully copies the sharp, angular lines of the F-35A canopy and, thanks to 3D printing, it offers clean edges and a precise join to the transparent parts of the cockpit. Watch out for the distinction, because a variant with the canopy frame open also exists for models with the cockpit tilted up.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and sand with your airways protected. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the frame before you fit it and mask the clear parts so that their transparency is preserved.
The accessory is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
