1:35 Printed Accessories:

What this is about

This is a printed accessory for a diorama in 1:35 scale, that is a finished element the builder sets into a scene without having to make it himself. Accessories of this kind save time on the parts that would take disproportionately long to make by hand, and at the same time they keep the scene consistent in appearance. The subject this item carries and its dimensions are given in the manufacturer's instructions.

How the accessory is used

First clean the surface the accessory is to go on of dust and grease; otherwise it will neither hold nor bed down. Lay the accessory on dry, check its position against the viewpoint from which the diorama will be seen, and only then fix it. Apply the glue in a thin layer and preferably around the edges, so that it does not seep into the visible face and leave stains. The type of glue suited to the material supplied and any adjustment of the size are covered by the manufacturer's instructions.

Placement and care

Handle the finished accessory with tweezers or by the edge, as fingerprints are harder to get off a printed surface than dust. Protect the scene from damp and direct sunlight, which do printed surfaces no good in the long run. Brush settled dust off with a soft brush, as wet cleaning will do the accessory more harm than good.

Who it is for

The accessory will be used by builders of dioramas in 1:35 scale who put a setting around their vehicles and figures and want it finished quickly. The work needs no sanding, no filling and no special tools.

The scope of the delivery is given in the manufacturer's information for this item. Paints, glue and tools are not supplied with the accessory, unless stated otherwise.
