A printed accessory for a diorama in 1:35 scale with a glazed window subject, one of the items of the Printed Accessories range. A universal filling for the window openings of buildings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A window is a surprisingly demanding detail on a model of a building. An empty opening gives a set piece away, clear plastic catches the light and glazing pane by pane takes more time than a whole wall. A printed subject of glazed windows in 1:35 scale shortens that work to cutting out and gluing on, and it suits dwelling houses, workshops and small farm structures.
An accessory from the Printed Accessories range, carrying its own designation. Unlike the factory versions of the same range it bears a more general subject of glazed windows. How many parts the package contains and what dimensions they have are stated on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions; compare the size of the window openings of your structure with these figures.
Cut with a sharp blade along a rule, and the edge will stay straight and not stand out in the opening. Put the element against the opening dry and only then glue it, best of all onto the window opening from behind. Dose the glue sparingly around the perimeter and choose its type according to the manufacturer's instructions. Fit the windows only once the masonry is painted and dirtied. If you want to add a curtain or a blackout, back the subject from behind with a thin material, but test the paint and the varnish on an offcut first.
The set is meant for builders of dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale who are missing a quick and clean solution to the windows of buildings in the foreground and in the background of a scene. Even a beginner will manage it, because it calls for no sanding and no filling. Paints, glue and a kit of the building are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
