Alongside wallpapers RT-Diorama has wall tiles, floor tiles and wooden floors in this range in the same scale, so a whole interior from the floor to the ceiling can be put together from them. That is a great advantage over improvising from random materials, where the scale of the pattern on the wall and on the floor often falls out of step. The wallpaper comes into its own in a bedroom, a living room, a rented apartment over a shop and a room taken over by a headquarters on a diorama.
Put the interior together from the bottom up: the floor first, then the walls, and the furniture and the small things only at the end. When choosing the pattern think about what it will stand next to - a bold drawing on a wall needs a quieter floor and the other way around, or the scene will start to break into fragments. Once the space is finished, unify it with fine toning, so that all the areas come across as having aged together. The last step belongs to the small things at a figure's eye level: a picture, a clock, a shelf or a mirror give a room a story that an area on its own will never carry.
