1:35 Propaganda Posters WWII Poland 1939-45 Pt.2 is a sheet of period posters in 1:35 scale from the brand WEIKERT DECALS, intended as an accessory for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second part of the sheets with reproductions of period posters from Poland in the war years 1939 to 1945, printed in 1:35 scale. It is an accessory for dioramas: the designs are stuck onto the walls of buildings, fences, posts and other vertical surfaces, so that a scene gains a period character. It is not a kit or a model.
With the waterslide version the usual procedure for decals applies: gloss varnish on the base, separation of the design from the sheet, soaking and settling onto a damp area. A softener then helps the design flow around an uneven texture, and a matte coat hides the glossy outline of the carrier layer. The paper version only needs cutting out and sticking down with a thin layer of white glue; then darken the edge, so that the cut does not stand out.
Irregularity helps the credibility. A poster stuck down exactly level and in the middle of an area looks like a picture inserted afterwards, whereas a design slightly crooked, partly torn or covered by another poster falls into the scene by itself. Unify the colors with a filter or a weak wash according to how weathered the rest of the wall is.
The accessory is supplied as a sheet for further work. Glue, varnishes and paints are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
