Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory set in 1:35 scale for a model of the German Pz.Kpfw. II light tank in the Ausf. C version. It is not a model of the vehicle but a set of parts meant for completing an already finished model with kit and stowage. Compare the extent of the package against the manufacturer's details on the packaging before buying.
The Pz.Kpfw. II was a German light tank that was originally to serve only as an interim type for training, until production of heavier vehicles got going. In the end, though, it became one of the most numerous German tanks of the first years of the war. In the turret it carried an automatic cannon of twenty millimeters and a coaxial machine gun, which was not enough against armored targets, but against infantry and light vehicles the weapon proved itself. The Ausf. C version is the early production type, with a running gear on five independently sprung road wheels. Tanks of this form took part in the campaigns in Poland and in France and in the first months of the fighting on the Eastern Front; later they served as the basis for reconnaissance and self-propelled designs.
A small tank will bear only a limited amount of stowage, so place the accessories sparingly, at the rear, on the fenders and around the turret. Paint the parts apart from the vehicle, so that the difference between painted armor, canvas and wood stands out. Apply the dusty or muddy weathering right at the very end, so that it ties the vehicle and the stowage into one scene.
