A set of turned brass 75 mm projectiles for the Pz.Kpfw. IV (the KwK 40 L/48 gun) in 1:35 scale from Tamiya - realistic metal ammunition for detail and dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Tamiya holds turned brass projectiles of 75 mm caliber for the German Pz.Kpfw. IV tank armed with the KwK 40 L/48 gun. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory - metal ammunition that you can use for interior detail, for building ammunition crates or for a diorama scene. Turned brass looks more realistic than plastic rounds and gives a scene a natural metallic sheen.
The 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/48 gun was among the main armament of the later versions of the Pz.Kpfw. IV and of the tank destroyers on its chassis. The longer barrel and the powerful ammunition markedly improved the anti-armor capability of the vehicle in the second half of the war.
Degrease the brass parts and, if you like, blacken or varnish them to set the case and the projectile apart. For loose rounds, combine them with plastic crates and clips. The metal surface can be left showing as brass or lightly weathered.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and the base model are not included in the package.
