Australian infantry in 1:35 scale, the fourth continuation: a pair of figures for a diorama according to the data in the name.
Responsibility details are not available.
A following set of figures in 1:35 scale. The name gives the order four and two figures. The part is meant for those who already have the earlier sets of the same series and want to extend the group by another pair without the poses repeating.
Numbered series have the advantage that the figures can be put together into larger wholes. When you build a patrol of six men, you gain a natural variety of positions without having to adjust the figures yourself. It pays to think the arrangement through before you start gluing: the figures should not all look in the same direction and the gaps between them should match the rhythm of the movement. It also pays to leave a free place between the figures for a terrain element, a stone, a trodden path or a low bush, which joins the group into one whole.
The face deserves the most attention, because the whole work is judged exactly by it. Choose an undercoat darker than the final skin is to be, and apply the light tones gradually to the forehead, the nose and the cheekbones. Rather only suggest the eyes with a dark line; a precisely painted white of the eye looks unnatural at this scale. The lips and the ears take a touch of warmer pink. The hair and the stubble need only be suggested with a dark wash over the base tone of the skin.
