A set of ninety-nine small rivets 0.6 mm in diameter from the production of Copper State Models. This is a universal consumable material for modelers of equipment: you will not find any vehicle or particular real subject here, but a supply of a uniform fastening detail that comes in useful on practically every build in 1:35 scale and in the neighboring scales too.
The most comfortable procedure is to drill a hole in the place with a small drill of the corresponding diameter, pick the rivet up with a moistened toothpick and seat it in a microscopic drop of super glue. Work over a light mat with a raised edge, as a dropped rivet will otherwise never be found again. A row of rivets is kept straight with the help of a strip of tape stuck down, which will serve as a guide; after overpainting, the added pieces merge with their surroundings without a trace. With longer rows, measure the spacing out in advance and mark it with a needle, as regularity sets clean work apart from improvisation.
