Responsibility details are not available.
This is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model of a machine. The set stands for rural power line poles of round section, that is the type that in reality differs from square poles in the shape of the shaft and reads differently in a scene. It is exactly the choice of section that helps to distinguish the region and the period you are setting a diorama in.
A round shaft is typical of rural routes, where poles stood along field tracks, at farms and at the edges of villages. In a diorama such an element creates a clean vertical line that does not compete with the square architecture of buildings and works well in open country without any building at all. The set suits front-line views of the Second World War, postwar scenes and civilian subjects, because rural distribution lines changed only slowly.
The best effect comes from a route that runs diagonally across the area of the diorama and carries on beyond its edge - the scene thereby gains depth and the viewer imagines the landscape continuing. Do not stand the poles exactly upright and at equal intervals; slight irregularity looks believable. If you combine several types of pole, keep to one within a single route, because a mixed line in open country looks inconsistent.
