An injection-molded plastic kit of the modernized Russian T-90MS main battle tank from Zvezda in 1:35 scale. It is a completely new tooling with link and length tracks, a well worked-out new turret and rich hull detail. The model captures the modernized export version with the new explosive reactive armor.
The T-90MS is a deep modernization of the proven T-90 series, which itself comes from the line of the Soviet T-72. It received a new turret concept, a more capable fire control system and extensive protection from new explosive reactive armor around the vehicle and on the turret. The stowage boxes at the rear of the turret and the modernized observation and sighting suite are characteristic. The prototype with the new turret was shown publicly around the turn of the first decade of this century and the machine was aimed mainly at export markets.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull first, and only then close the hull up. Assemble the link and length tracks patiently and glue them with thin modeling cement. Apply primer under the paint and spray with an airbrush. The blocks of reactive armor are an ideal surface for picking out the edges with a dry brush and for washes in the gaps. Use earth and dust pigments on the running gear, the fenders and the underside to give the vehicle a realistic patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
