A model of a crate for a 100 mm artillery round for the gun designated Rapira, 1:35 scale. An accessory for dioramas with equipment and artillery.
Responsibility details are not available.
It is a model of a transport crate for a 100 mm artillery round in 1:35 scale. The designation Rapira belongs to the Soviet anti-tank gun of 100 mm caliber, so the crate is aimed at scenes with that weapon, with its tractors and with its crew. The details are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
An artillery position with no ammunition comes across as empty. Crates are exactly the element that gives a scene its logic: they show where the crew takes its rounds from and fill the space between the weapon, the vehicle and the figures. They can be stacked on each other, leaned against a carriage wheel, loaded onto a load bed or left open and empty to one side. That is precisely why they suit even places where the gun itself is not in the scene and it is only a matter of suggesting a supply point.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder, while leaving the edges of the crate sharp, because it is they that carry the whole impression of the shape. Wash and degrease the surface before painting and apply a base coat. The basis is usually a muted green shade; let worn places on the edges and deposits of dust at the bottom stand out on the crates. Lettering and markings appear routinely on real crates, but decals need not be part of the delivery, so count on them separately.
Into dioramas with artillery, with supply vehicles and into scenes with a weapon crew in 1:35 scale. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
