An aftermarket QuickWheel set with new front steering wheels for models of the German Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track in 1:35 scale. The wheels carry the road tread of the Phoenix-Harburg tire type, printed around the whole circumference. It is a detail accessory for the running gear, not a model of the vehicle.
In the package you will find good-quality resin wheels with hubs and a QuickWheel painting mask for quick, clean painting of the tires. The rendering of the tread is crisp and the casting mark minimal. The parts are in the color of the resin and are meant to be painted.
Separate the wheels from the casting stub, sand the contact face and wash them with lukewarm water and dish soap. Glue them with cyanoacrylate. Paint the hub first, then fit the mask and add the shade of the tire; a fine wash will bring out the rendering of the tread.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
