Eduard 1:35 Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.D is a photo-etched detail set for a model of the German half-track. A photo-etched accessory; it is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard photo-etched detail set serves to refine a plastic model of the German Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.D armored half-track in 1:35 scale. It holds fine photo-etched parts that supplement a plastic kit. It is not a model or a kit; it is an accessory for a model of this vehicle.
The Sd.Kfz.251 was a German armored half-track of the Second World War, the backbone vehicle of the armored infantry. The Ausf.D version was the most widespread and a simplified production variant with sloped sides to the rear body. The designation /1 corresponds to the basic transport version for carrying infantry.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp blade, bent over a bending tool and glued with super glue. Bare metal features are worth degreasing before painting and giving a base coat. On a vehicle it pays to detail the interior of the body and the small outer features before it is closed up and painted.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
