Sherman Mk II 1942 - British tanks in North Africa is a set of water-slide decals in 1:35 from Star Decals.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of water-slide decals in 1:35 scale for the British Sherman Mk II tanks deployed in North Africa in 1942. The markings are based on vehicles of the British army in the desert campaign. It is a decal set on its own, not a kit of the tank.
Sherman Mk II was the British designation for the American version of the M4A1 medium tank with a fully cast hull, delivered to the Allies under the Lend-Lease program. It reached British service in 1942 and played a significant part in the fighting in North Africa, where it helped to turn the desert campaign around. The vehicles carried the typical desert finish as well as British tactical and unit markings.
Apply them onto a smooth gloss varnish against silvering. Dip the decal briefly, slide it off the backing into place and press it down. A softener will help to seat the film into the detail, and a final matte varnish will even the whole surface out.
This is a decal set. The paints, the varnish and the model of the tank are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
