1:35 Sleeping SS Grenadier - WWII is a resin figure of a sleeping German infantryman in 1:35 scale for dioramas and vignettes.

A lying figure is one of the most effective tools for giving a diorama a story. The viewer grasps at once that the scene takes place in the rear, between two moves, and that the other figures are standing guard or working. Royal Model casts this figure in polyurethane resin, which on a lying pose brings out the crumpled cloth and the sag of the fabric under the body well.
Sleep was rare in units in the field and was taken wherever it could be: on the bed of a truck, on straw in a barn, on a tarpaulin laid down beside a track. Photographs from the front are full of such scenes and modelers make use of them, because a single lying figure breaks up the dull arrangement of figures in a row and adds a second level to a scene.
With a lying figure the surface underneath decides everything. Try it dry in the place it is to go, and fill any gaps between the body and the surface with putty before painting. Rinse the casting beforehand and apply a base coat to it. Lead the shadows into the folds under the body, where light would naturally not fall, and lighten the upper surfaces a little instead.
It is sold without a finish and without a base, with raw casting blocks to remove.
