Friulmodel 1:35 Soviet 203mm B-4 Howitzer Track Set is a set of movable white metal tracks for a model of the Soviet heavy gun B-4.
Responsibility details are not available.
It is not a model, but a demanding detail accessory. The package from Friulmodel contains the individual links of a movable track cast in white metal, usually complemented by drive wheels and wire for making the pins. The metal tracks replace the plastic or rubber tracks of the base kit, articulate faithfully and, thanks to their own weight, settle beautifully and create a natural sag on the running gear of the model of the 203mm howitzer B-4.
The Soviet 203mm howitzer B-4 M1931 was a heavy gun of the Red Army nicknamed Stalin's sledgehammer. It moved on a tracked carriage chassis and was deployed from the fighting of the Second World War to destroy fortifications and urban targets.
Clean the metal links of flash, join them with cut pieces of the enclosed wire, which act as the pins; secure the ends of the wire. The assembled track is sturdy and moves freely. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer suitable for metal, then weather with pigments and a wash for mud and dust effects.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
