Hobby Boss 1:35 Soviet BT-2 tank (early version) is a plastic kit of the light fast tank of the 1930s with individual track links.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet light fast tank BT-2 in its early production form in 1:35 scale. The kit holds plastic sprues with the parts, a decal sheet and instructions; individual track links allow the running gear to be modeled faithfully. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The BT-2 was the first production type of the Soviet BT series of fast tanks, which grew out of the concept of the American designer Christie. It was built from the beginning of the 1930s and was marked out by its excellent mobility thanks to its convertible running gear, on tracks and on wheels alike, by light armor and by various arrangements of armament on the early machines. The BT tanks formed the backbone of the Soviet mechanized units in the prewar period and in the first fighting of the Second World War.
We recommend finishing the running gear and the lower hull before closing the hull up. Glue the individual track links with thin plastic cement and let the glue grab, so that they can be shaped around the wheels. After spraying the base green, use washes and pigments for the mud and dust effects typical of field service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
