Responsibility details are not available.
A premium set of resin figures in 1:35 scale from Bravo 6, a maker valued for naturalistic faces and finely rendered gear. It is the third release in the Around the Corner series and shows US Marine Corps riflemen with M16A1 assault rifles advancing through built-up streets in Vietnam. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is intended for experienced modelers.
The fighting in Vietnam, above all during the Tet Offensive of 1968, often moved into towns and villages, where the infantry worked its way from corner to corner and used the buildings for cover. The M16A1 rifle was the standard weapon of the American infantry at that time; the load-bearing equipment and the cloth-covered helmet were just as typical.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your breathing when sanding. The dynamic poses come into their own in a diorama; for a convincing look build up the skin and the uniform in layers and finish the wear with glazes and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, in resin. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
