A set of figures of Soviet officers at a briefing, 1:35 scale is a resin set from the maker PANZER ART. The figures are modeled as a group concentrated on one point.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of figures in 1:35 for a diorama or for a scene with a vehicle. It is not a kit of equipment. The name sets out the situation: a group of figures at a briefing, that is a static scene built on how they are turned toward one another and on their lines of sight.
This set differs from working subjects in that the action is inside the group, not between a figure and an object. The figures are turned toward one another and the scene works only when the modeler keeps the center of gravity: the figures should stand in a slightly irregular circle rather than in a line, and at least one of them should have its back to the viewer. That creates the impression that the group is talking together rather than posing. It pays to try the layout dry and only then to drill pegs or glue.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off, sand them down and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint in layers across the whole set, so that the shades of the uniforms do not drift apart. With a static group it is good to set the figures apart gently, or they read as castings from one template: shift the tone of the uniform a little, shade differently and change the shade of the skin by one step. Keep the differences small, though, so that the group holds together. Paint the faces in one sitting, because at a briefing it is they that the eye looks at first. Let a targeted wash into the folds and pull the edges out with a dry brush. Finish the set with a matte clear coat from the same bottle.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, the glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
