The third part of the range on the Soviet and Russian naval infantry. According to the name it concerns fire support and air defense equipment. The contents are decals intended for a finished, painted model.
A landing on a coast could not do without two things, that is without artillery support to silence the defense and without protection against attack from the air at the moment when the units are at their most vulnerable. It is precisely this part of the naval infantry that the set is devoted to. In a collection it fills a gap most modelers leave open, because building usually starts with tanks and carriers, while the support assets come in turn last or not at all.
Fire support equipment often has an open or only partly covered station for the crew, so more is visible from above than on a tank. Lay the markings out, therefore, so that they do not compete with the gear, crates and tools that are still to come onto the vehicle. It is proven practice to assemble the model dry, lay the accessories out as a trial and only then determine the places for the decals. Apply them onto a gloss base and once they have dried unify the surface with a matte varnish, so that the gear and the body come across as one whole.
