A Dipping ink toning ink from the brand Green Stuff World in a purple shade, in a 60 ml package.
Responsibility details are not available.
Dipping ink is a toning ink intended for shading a finished model. It is applied over the base color, runs into the recesses, grooves and seams, and darkens there once it has dried, whereas on the convex surfaces only a thin hint stays. The model thereby gains depth without your having to paint the shadows by hand. This package holds 60 ml and a purple shade.
The line is built for dipping: the model is dipped in, left to drip and the surplus is drawn away with a brush or the edge of a paper towel, so that the ink does not stay in pools on horizontal surfaces. It can be applied just as well selectively with a brush into individual seams. The recommended thinning, the ratio and the cleaning of tools are given by the maker on the packaging; go by them, because every line has its own thinner.
Before applying, let the base paint dry thoroughly, because otherwise it will bleed. On a gloss base the ink slides into the recesses better; on a matte one it stays more on the surface. Let the procedure run on a piece of spare plastic, so that you know how strong a shade you will get. Once it has dried, fix the model with varnish, and the purple tone suits cool shades of skin, cloak fabrics and metal surfaces in particular, where it works as a colored shadow.
For builders of figures and fantasy models who want quick shading of large areas, and also for modelers who need to emphasize engraving and seams.
A model, brushes and varnish are not part of the supply, unless stated otherwise.
