A color 3D decal of tie-down straps from Quinta Studio in 1:35 scale. The straps are printed in several layers on a flexible film, so they look three-dimensional and can be modeled into a natural sag and over edges. This is the type A version. It is neither photo-etch nor resin but an accessory for refining covers, loads and equipment on vehicle models.
Trucks, trailers and loaded material tend to be covered with a canvas pulled down by a system of straps with buckles. This set reproduces those tie-down straps realistically and lets you pull a cover down or secure a load convincingly, which adds life to the scene.
The elements are released from the film in lukewarm water and transferred into place like wet decals, or glued down. The flexible layer lets the strap be bent over the edge of a cover or a load and shaped taut. Work with plenty of water and, if needed, fix the joints with a drop of clear varnish. A decal softener does not belong on these parts, it would attack the printed resin. The pre-printed colors need no painting.
This is an accessory set of decals, not a kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
